02Methodology
How the index is calculated
- Every 3 minutes, coinglee checks the USDT/VND offers on Binance P2P, OKX P2P and Bybit P2P.
- Only offers that accept a 5 million VND trade, from sellers with a completion rate of 95% or higher, are counted; each exchange's price is the middle of its 5 best such offers.
- Each exchange's daily price is the average of all prices recorded that day; the index uses whichever exchange was cheapest.
- Premium = USDT buy price ÷ the same day's Vietcombank USD − 1.
